I have been at Van Horn Law for almost 6 years. My daughter drew me to work here when she was working here as a bankruptcy attorney

Success is the ongoing process of achieving your goals and dreams on a personal professional, and spiritual level throughout your life.

“Linda, mi amor” when addressing my granddaughter.
Q: What is your favorite part about what you do?
Helping people through difficult times.
Q: What does true leadership mean to you?
Inspiring and influencing others to follow your ideas.
Q: What would you like to be your greatest accomplishment?
My family is my greatest accomplishment.
Q: If you could eat lunch with someone famous, who would it be?
Pope Francis.
Q: What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
Faith.
Q: What is the greatest challenge you have had to overcome in your life thus far?
My current battle against cancer.
Q: What is your greatest fear?
Losing my faith.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do?
Spending time with my family and being able to run and exercise
Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Steak.
Q: Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Rome in 2005. I’ve been lucky to travel to many places, but this trip was the most special because my husband and I were able to show our daughters the Vatican.
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?
My mother who raised 8 children and is the glue that keeps out large family together.
Q: Where did your career start, and how did you get to where you are today?
My career restarted by chance at Van Horn Law after devoting 30 years to my husband and daughters. I got to where I started thanks to the opportunity I was given by this firm and my own hard work.
Q: What is your most satisfying professional accomplishment?
Being able to develop in the legal field after putting my career on hold for my family.
Q: If you could go back in time, what would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
You will have a great and blessed life.
Q: What is a great piece of advice you have personally received and did you have occasion to put it to use?
Don’t do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you. I make my best effort to put to use every day.
Q: What is an item on your “bucket list”?
I want to make a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
