Chad Van Horn Selected as a NACBA 2026 Champion of Consumer Rights Recipient

Van Horn Law Group is proud to announce that our founding partner, Chad Van Horn, Esq., has been selected as a recipient of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys’ (NACBA) 2026 Champion of Consumer Rights award.

This recognition highlights attorneys who have demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting consumer rights and advocating for individuals navigating financial hardship through the bankruptcy system. NACBA, a national organization representing consumer bankruptcy attorneys and their clients, will formally recognize recipients during its Annual Award Luncheon in Boston on Friday, April 10.

This acknowledgment reflects the mission that has guided Van Horn Law Group since its founding in 2011: providing clear legal guidance, practical solutions, and a path forward for individuals and families facing overwhelming debt.

As a double board-certified attorney in consumer and business bankruptcy law, Chad has helped more than 10,000 clients pursue financial recovery. Under his leadership, the firm has grown to become one of the largest bankruptcy-focused law firms serving clients throughout South Florida and Western Pennsylvania, while also being recognized for its contributions to pro bono legal services in Broward County.

Chad’s work has also focused on improving access to bankruptcy protection. Through advocacy and legal strategy, he has supported efforts that expand accessibility for individuals seeking relief under federal bankruptcy law, including approaches that make legal representation more attainable for those who need it most.

In addition to his client work, Chad has been involved in broader efforts to improve outcomes for consumers navigating financial challenges, including initiatives related to Florida exemption laws and public education around bankruptcy rights.

Throughout his career, Chad has emphasized the importance of helping individuals understand their legal options and overcome common misconceptions about bankruptcy. His work continues to focus on making the process more accessible, transparent, and aligned with its intended purpose — providing a meaningful financial reset.

Chad Van Horn’s selection as a 2026 Champion of Consumer Rights recipient reflects the commitment behind every case handled at Van Horn Law Group. The firm remains focused on delivering thoughtful, strategic legal guidance to individuals seeking a fresh start.

The award will be presented at NACBA’s Annual Convention in Boston this April. We invite you to follow Van Horn Law Group for updates surrounding the event, or learn more about your options by visiting https://www.vanhornlawgroup.com.
