Making It Affordable For Low-Income Debtors to File Bankruptcy

The legal system, especially when it comes to bankruptcy, should be open to everyone that needs it. Just not those that can afford it.

On June 16th, 2021 Van Horn Law Group won a case in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Florida (Case No. 20-8268-LMI), confirming a more affordable process for attorneys to provide bankruptcy services to underserved, low-income communities. In addition, the win ensures a more reasonable option to paying thousands of fees upfront prior to the bankruptcy filing.

In the next Live event scheduled for June 23rd, Bankruptcy Attorney Chad Van Horn will discussing more about bifurcated agreements in Chapter 7 cases, and how this helps low-income debtors to have access to the bankruptcy process.
